Just picked this back up. Managing ok so far, but its bringing up a lot of memories of Pierre, so I'm kind of sad. The writing is really good though, and I think its a very important book. Probably will finish this off today.

I had to set this aside for awhile after I lost my Pit Bull, Pierre. Fascinating and very well told history of the ups and downs of this breed.
