Still excruciatingly slow but the occasional small bits are so good that I’m begrudgingly going to finish. Ex: Hester and the glass eyeball??? Love that tidbit.
Mostly, it meanders; there doesn’t seem to be much of a plot other than *spoilers* he’s ~also~ a little insane.

Kinda slow to start. Keep waiting for the hook to get me interested
