i found the flashbacks about quentin's, patrick's, blouse's and brenda's lives A LOT more interesting/ enjoyable that the Ella x Don plot. i found it weird that in the little synopsis the plot is supposed to be about the documentary Ella (and nick + sandy) want to film about quentins but only 100 pages in the book we heard about this
