Spoiler ALERT This book so far is really sad, soldiers have come into Chantrea' town and now have killed a lot of people for not very good reasons. They even killed her mother for trying to run away. Now she is trying to find her Father so that he can take her away from this catastrophe

Right now Chantrea is going to America. After 8 long months Chantrea has finally got the letter that allows her to go to America. Chantrea is going to vist her father's family and hopefully find her father.

Right now i am at the part where Chantrea is finally brought to peace. The American Soldiers have come to rescue her after long dreadful weeks from walking miles and miles trying to escape the Khmer Soldiers. Her and her grandparents are frail and weak they are skin and bones because they had very little to eat. But now they don't have to worry when their next meal will be because they are safe now.
