alexander is litcherally a queercoded villain

bewildered as to the sexual orientations of these characters. i was expecting some powerful homoeroticism between james and oliver and now it’s looking like the only queer character is alexander (which was dropped in out of nowhere? i swear he’s been sexualising meredith the entire book so far) ????
