ooo this sounds like a good thriller!

I don't think it'll be a five-star read for me, but it's pretty good so far. Who knows, though. It could be a five-star read by the time I finish it!

I feel like with thriller/mystery it usually is the middle & end that makes you go wow but it’s worth the ride anyways just to see how it ends! What about the first part has you questioning it?

Exactly, sometimes the end is what you makes you go "Wow!" So far, the book has kept me interested, but the writing itself feels a little disjointed and choppy. Instead of writing in complex sentences, he writes in choppy smaller sentences. For me, the choppy writing style kind of takes away from the pleasure of reading it. That's just me, though. Other readers may not be bothered by it.
