While this one is still on my shelf to be read, I recall having similar thoughts with War & Peace many yrs ago. In the end, I was glad I read it and while some of the War parts were very interesting to me….it was the Peace parts that got me through.
Others have told me they quite enjoyed Karenina, so I will give it a try one day. But….i feel you might be having the correct thoughts for a Tolstoy novel?? Lol!
