Ending 2 Samuel. Trying to decide whether I have the stamina to move on to Kings or whether I need a break with a different Biblical book.

2 Samuel is underway. This is a fascinating exercise or devotion or whatever you want to call it. Who expected such an old piece so focused on warfare to speak to me? I shoudn't be surprised I suppose ... God is in the pages so of course He makes His presence known.

Finished Joshua. On to Judges, where the fussin' and the feudin' is like the Wild West of the Old Testament.
