greek tragedies are so STUPID
man kills wife’s family to access power
man wonders why wife hates him
man kills wife because he thinks wife cheated on him
man regrets killing wife. man goes mad.
i’m not even kidding that is the plot.
this first play got cool lines though. i get how a good actor would have been able to make it work and successful. but it is SO OVERLY DRAMATIC.
