An absurd but delightful premise. What if you went to the doctor instead of a lollipop you got a dinosaur? What if you went to the bakery and free with a dozen donuts came a dinosaur? Where would you put your dinosaur(s)? He surely can't fit in the house. How do you train a dinosaur? Surely dinosaurs can't become a part of the family. Or can they?
