The three story lines took a little getting used to. A lot of the action was incomprehensible because it hasn't occurred in our times. Interesting story and ideas. Just not my cup of tea I guess.

A lot more fun and able to comprehend if I read chapters at a sitting rather than pages. Still interesting, especially since it involves much discussion of AI's and how they're not only going to take over the world, but the entire universe.

Slow going, because this is a book on my bed stand not written by Michael Connelly, so I quickly put it down and fall asleep. Still not understanding much, which is typical in the beginning of any science fiction novel. Sort of interesting. Certainly no Alistair Reynolds though.

Kind of clunky writing. Recalls how smooth Ian Banks' was. Not sure what the story is yet. So far I've met Henry, who erased all life on a planet, by mistake, with his nanobots. And Eva, who's trying to kill herself by overdosing with (European) Panacetamol "an analgesic and antipyretic drug that is used to temporarily relieve mild-to-moderate pain and fever."
