This author doesn't seem to believe in showing substantiating evidence for any of his claims, & the writing is extremely repetitive. The warning and the intro alone were undermining to his credibility as a narrator/scholar. I came to the topic as a very receptive and interested reader, hoping for an earnest and rigorous examination of various topics in ethnomycology, with excerpts from actual ethnography? Too much?
