At just 17% of the way through, this book has seen more action than most.

It includes the thought provoking line from Bathsheba to Boldwood: It is hard to describe how I feel when I only have words created by men to describe how they feel. Since it was written in 1874 it is shame the world didn’t act then on such obvious bias in the design of society!
