This book progressively just started to make my ass itch the more I read. This is going to be my first 1 star and honestly because it just was not developed very well.

How is she blowing up at Mav for confessing his love to her before she gets married but she didn’t blow up at Leander for stealing the rent money to leave her homeless and then breaking up with her over text and blocking her?!? River gets on my damn nerves. I am so disappointed with the way this book turned out like how did it get so bad.

This is hella unbelievable. How the hell does she make him better? We literally haven’t seen any evidence of that at all. Like what?

This book turned into ass.

I actually kinda hate this book. It started off promising but the development of their relationship really decreased over time. We’re 81% in and they’ve only had sex once and haven’t done anything to build the relationship up to where I would believe they are falling for each other.

Girl if you give this knacker the time of day after everything he did I’mma be pissed.

I thought she blocked and deleted Leander’s number?

Why can’t heroines just be regular old black folks?!? Damn!

Is this little girl going to end up being Maverick’s?
