this book has been in my works for a long time. I got it before I turned 16 after watching the film adaptation of the musical and have made many attempts to finish it and am finally getting stuck into it. for full disclosure, I have had to skip a few sections, such as where Hugo goes into details about historic battles but I try to avoid this and in terms of the relevant story line, I seem to be following it well
