totally forgot to update my goodreads when i started this lol but I’m actually really liking this. I’ve never really read a “dark romance/mafia romance” before so this is new to me but I could see myself reading the rest of this series. Although Aida and Cal are pretty one-note as characters, the themes of family in the book definitely make it easier to digest.
