I know I've only just started it, but I'm loving the premise (SPECIFICALLY his father's outlook on the situation which I think is a unique viewpoint to the backdrop), and yea wow maybe another YA read I'll love!

I've never been so annoyed by a teenage (but essentially an adult as he's 18) protagonist before. He's your "typical" male teenager protagonist in fiction and he irritates me so badly. Overall the story isn't completely awful though.
