Have broken my glasses TWICE while trying to get through the last 10% of this book. Get a new pair on Thursday so should be able to finish it this week!!

1984 is another example of a similar story. While Winston and Julia's society were given to believe they were at war with one of the other continents and always have been, the Akhana "terrorists" are at war against the Fifth Column, who trains its operatives from childhood to be ruthless killers. But in reality Akhana are deprogrammed Fifth Column operatives on a mission to save the world from an internal menace...

This book reads like so many others, and when I'm reminded of them again I'll mention them. Sophia reminds me of Jennifer Lawrence's eventual portrayal of Katniss Everdeen, *after* she'd shed the shy mantle. So far, though, the body-count is hefty, but the drama is high- are we going to get our heroin and heroes back together? What is Denton's plan for Sophia? What is Adamiscz's? To be continued ....

What a surprise! Because I liked Matt Reilly's "Sixth Stone" Nathan Farrugia thought I might like "Chimera Vector". And from the first page, I love it already! Huge shoes to fill, Nathan! I look forward to the rest if it!!! Cheers
