harrow my love… my baby… i forgot how absolutely devastating this book is

“you’re keeping her things like a lover keeping old notes, but with her death, the stuff that made her *gideon* was destroyed. you’re not waiting for her resurrection; you’ve made yourself her mausoleum.” this book is just harrow doing her best to escape from grief even though her attempts are obviously doomed. ouch.

the fact that god canonically has a book about puberty (probably from before the resurrection) and tries to give harrow the sex talk to get out of talking about his ex is an oft-overlooked part of this book and it makes me laugh
