One of my favorite things that I’ve noticed on this reread is the Sebastien speaks English without an accent, thus leading to the implication that Nardi Is Just Doing That On Purpose.

It is a bold-ass move to 1) not have the main characters meet until almost a quarter of the way through and 2) have both their introductions be in another character’s pov. I cannot WAIT to see where this book goes next
