HELP!!!!! My flipping husband stole my ipad during the middle of the night and sold it to some guy. It had my books on it!!! Im in the middle of Backstage Pass by Olivia Cunning and I wanna finish it. I had the Kindle app on my ipad but can I read it on my computer now? HELP!!! Sincerely, Pissed off wife in Las Vegas

I did. but he did it cause he wants to get me the new one. He swears he told me what he was doing because he had to ask me where the iPad was but in my defense it was 4 in the morning. (he works nights) So I guess I'm not too mad. Plus Melissa showed me how to read my Kindle books on the computer. So in just a few more days I'll be reading on my (new!) ipad again. :)
Maybe get a Kindle express ordered to your house? That would be a good way to make you feel better until the IPad comes out.

lol. It sure does, Scully. :DMy dad actually wants a Kindle but I think I will end up getting him one of the first gen ones. It seems that those would be the most user friendly for someone who is a little behind the times. lol.
Holly, there is no difference in user friendliness between Kindle versions. I think the new one is much nicer and easier to read on because of the better word contrast.
hmmm. will have to get one of those then. because thats why i want to get it for him. i still have my nook but i think its like reading on a computer screen. after a while it will hurt your eyes. plus its deceptively heavy. i bet the new kindles are super light. yeah. im going to get one of the new ones. plus the smaller one is only like 140. yup. going to get him the new one. thanks Melissa!
