Very clever scenario with humor woven into the main character and her right hand woman. As a political crime novel, it's fiction that enables the writers to stretch reality, like the Secretary of State flying wherever and whenever she wants to make contact. I, for one, revelled in every potshot taken against the previous president. It was a fun read and a good introduction to what 'pair writing' can produce.
