When I read the Wikipedia on this case, I found out the cop was given, in 2004, the opportunity to prove the innocence he's been insisting on since day one. Advances in DNA and all. He refused to provide DNA and refused to say why. Nothing screams "I'm innocent, I swear," than refusing to give DNA and expecting people to take you at your word. Jackassery is off the charts.
