I am so glad I chose this book out of my vast library to read. Alison Naomi Holt is an incredible writer. This book took a hold of me on page one and is in no way gonna let me go. Grab a copy if you love Fantasy, animals and characters you are completely drawn to. I'm already totally convinced I have to have this entire series in paperback when I can. I love the way this story unfolds and the characters are awesome!

Reading a lot of independent authors this year has helped me get confident to get going on my own stuff while discovering some new favorite authors (Rachael Dunn, Kristin Ward, Alison Naomi Holt, and many in Space Opera I was unfamiliar with).
