I get what people are saying about this book; it’s weird and cruel. It’s hard for me to keep reading at times. I draw comparisons between Moshfegh’s medieval age and the times we’re living through. It’s one of those instances where the divisions of time blur and you realize how unchanged things actually are. Granted, this book’s perspective is modern, so all with a grain of salt, and I’ll keep reading.
