This book is so hard to read! I thought Serena would be more.. as she was raised by 5 powerful gargoyles, and a human/divine aunt. Also confusing is Nassa and Gage's relationship..in the ending of their story, they were happily mated forever. Nassa would never leave him, and he can't live without her. Yet... in this book it says their relationship has been on and off over the last 20 years.
