While the story on Earth was quite interesting, the story on THE GODS THEMSELVES, as they were, is proper alien. Asimov gives you just enough of their society to keep it interesting, but doesn't go all Solaris on us (no front to Solaris, the dry textbook vibe was the point of the book!). Excited to see where humans and THE GODS THEMSELVES end up. Definitely a book that keeps your attention!

The book makes a good first impression. The characters are memorable, the science is sensible and Asimov's writing style fun as ever. I'm excited to figure out the mysteries together with Lamont!
