This is my second attempt to read this book - the first was through the audiobook, which had a narrator who spoke in a bizarrely slow voice, so I'm reading the ebook now. I'm much more interested than last time, but Lindsay was right when she said the first third had been rewritten too many times, to it's detriment - it feels very clunky and it's hard to grasp exactly what's going on. Thankfully I know it gets better
