So refreshing to read an early historical fiction book. So far Helen Forrester’s writing is riveting. Three Women of Liverpool is certainly different to some of the sugar coated descriptions of the bombing raids in Liverpool & similarly targeted areas across London that I’ve hastily Skimmed through lately.. so far soo.. good 👍
