I know this one is for Dummies like me, but the prose is quite infantile. This 2003 book is also of course very, very out-of-date, for many of the books it refers to are unavailable, as are the websites it recommends.

The food section. I'd like to see a modern Hebrew primer in the older method. A traditional grammar. Not one of these things made for tourists.
