Heather Stanton The finish line is within sight! LOL

Melanie So close! It's not that it's bad - Eleanor of Aquitaine is a fascinating character - but there is just soooo muuuuuch!

Heather Stanton I have several of her books, but I haven't had the guts to tackle them yet. I know they'll be dense reads and lately I've needed fluff and bunnies and rainbows. :)

Melanie I'd definitely wait if you need fluff and bunnies and rainbows. Honestly, whenever I want fluff, I re-read The Wedding by Julie Garwood

The Wedding (Lairds' Fiancées, #2) by Julie Garwood

It's one of those that always makes me smile :) But then, I love my historicals!

Heather Stanton Oooh, Garwood in her heyday was unbeatable. I just finished Romancing the Duke and giggled all the way through it.

Melanie Tessa Dare has some really fun ones!

Have you read What Happens in London by Julia Quinn? That's another one of my current favs - the whole proposal at the end was perfect. They also did a book trailer which perfectly captures the beginning of the book. It's the 2nd in the series, but you really don't need to read the first one (actually, I didn't really enjoy the first very much).

And now I'm off to compare our book shelves :)

Heather Stanton Yes! I loved that one too! Julia Quinn kind of fell off my radar after that, but I do have a few of her Smythe-Smith books. I went through a period of complete historical burnout, but now I'm enjoying them again. I binged on paranormals for awhile, but read so many terrible ones that I started being very picky about whom I read. LOL

I am sure you'll find some overlap! It sounds like we have a lot of the same tastes. :)

Melanie I'll have to keep an eye out for fabulous paranormals :)

I still have to pimp out What A Dragon Should Know by G.A. Aiken - especially if you are looking for fluff. It's fabulous. Though it's definitely more fantasy than paranormal. Cause the hero is a dragon who can shapeshift into human form, not a human shifter. It is laugh-out-loud kind of funny.

Heather Stanton Ok, I am going to have to try her again. I tried Dragon Actually and stalled out around the 50% mark. Those books are so popular with my friends I know it has to be me.

If you haven't snagged that Tessa Dare book, I think it's still $1.79. Totally worth it. If you dig chick lit, Michele Gorman's books are pretty hilars. I laughed so hard at Single In the City one night I thought I'd wake the whole house up. I sounded like a braying donkey! :)

Melanie Dragon Actually is okay. But What A Dragon Should Know was brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. I loved the hero, I loved the heroine, and I honestly couldn't stop laughing. I'm thinking I'll be re-reading it again this weekend...
