I picked up an old college anthology in the 60’s (it was published in the mid fifties) called “Reading for Writers”. A Cress Delahanty story was among the selections. At barely a 13 year old, I liked it then and always remembered it. Last summer w/ my son, we visited a used bookstore in Catskill, NY and I found a 1956 copy of the entire book (a collection of short stories of Cress’ maturity from 12 to 16)
