I picked this up in a fit of vacation magic - when it was on display in a sandy bucket at a lighthouse, and on sale for a quarter. "That's what a beach read should be!", my brain shouted.
I also felt warm about the kooky notion of going all-in on a sci-fi property - last story in the series! - that I was never into very much.
