How is this one? I really liked his Book of Lost Things and kind of liked The Gates.

Well, I just started it this morning and I'm on the fourth chapter I think. I'm not going to lie, it's pretty gruesome so far but really phenomenal writing.

Nice! I'll have to pick it up some time. I do like the man's fantasy stuff. I recommend The Book of Lost Things. The Gates is good, but found out it's a trilogy. Which if I read the rest of them I might have a better view o the book. The Book of Lost Things is a dramaish adult fairy tale, while The Gates is a hellish comedy.

wow those sound interesting. I haven't actually heard of this author or his novels before. I'm in a book club and this book was picked last friday.
