one of the things I absolutely love about Mitch is that he is so rooted. Not like "stuck" but rather, he knows who he is and what he wants from his life and he's not going to let anyone tell him it isn't good enough. (Also he is so damn competent--there is no element of April taking on a second child in his slow and steady pursuit of a relationship with her. He just wants to be there FOR HER.)
