"It was off-putting to speak to a man who looked as though he asked nothing more of the world than the chance to rend someone limb from limb and dance on the pieces."

"She was white as a sheet, but her eyes glowed. They were fastened on Ian, who was looking at no one but her, his own heart in his eyes."

“I dinna ken whether I’ll have a bed at all tonight,” he said, straightening up. “But whether it’s feathers or straw, promise ye’ll share it with me?”
“Always,” I said.

God I wish I had the time to go back and re-read this book but with so many other books on my TBR, I rarely have time for re-read...and especially not one this long!

I don't want it to end especially since I know I'll have to wait years for next one...
Yeah, I had no idea when I started Outlander that the gap between Echo and Moby was 5 years! Diana Gabaldon pulled a George R R Martin on me!
DG only started writing book #9 recently. So it'll be at least 2 - 3 years until it is published :-/ I think I'll try to do series re-read. I'm sure I'll forget many details by the time next book is out

Anyway I believe 9 is going to be the last one, right?
It's not decided yet... DG said that she was not sure yet if she was able to finish it all within book#9. Also she plans to write prequel. I have no idea what it will be about. But my guess would be young Jamie before he met Claire.
Really?! But we've had that in the short story Virgins, Jamie and Ian in France...I'm happy for her to write forever but please, let there not be 5 years between books! Hahahaha!

I just hope it will be about Jamie, I am not that interested in seeing Claire falling in love with Frank...
And long wait between books is terrible. I am worried DG will be busy with making TV series and will neglect writing :/

Hmmmm? Hence why I am totally anti book adaptations of all kinds; selfish, I know and proud of it! :-))
