And fantastic that Jordan has been reduced to a simpering fuck doll. She wants to roll herself all up in Harrow's vampire ebola herpes despite there being no cure and pretty much no treatment and yet she can't comprehend why he won't sex her up. "But I thought you loved me," she said after she pooped out what intelligence she had left and runs weeping from the room.

Harrow is so overly concerned about being viewed as a pansy for any perceived weakness that I feel like he should punch a wall to reassert his penis every time his masculinity drops below 147%.

This has some of the most gawky, awkward dialogue I've ever read. And it's insistence on gender roles is grating at this point. I also feel the story's lost track of itself, at least for Jordan. For such a strong woman she meets a hot guy and all prior plans have been thrown out the window.

This book is a struggle. Piles of intermittent exposition littered throughout, too much conversation, not enough action and even when there is action it's buried in confusing descriptions that make it all hard to follow. Or that's me only half paying attention.
