I personally think Never Let Me Go teaches better (I have taught it but not Klara), but that’s because I think that NLMG has a much deeper impact and for the most part the characters are students in some sense. For that reason, there’s something for them to connect to and possibly have a deeper response to. Also, imo, the last third of Klara is far “weaker,” and I found it overall less impactful than NLMG.
