Writing a memoir does not mean you have to take readers through every passing thought in your head. 1) it makes the writing almost unbearable to get through. 2) you end up sounding like an awful human being.

I know this is written from Andrews' pov, but it is hard to read his interpretation of Hill and not have a negative response. Are these two memoirs going to be mutual bashing and how the relationship imploded?

Andrews is randomly inserting details about gender confirmation surgeries into his text. That is fine and so common to Trans memoirs that it is a trope, but I think a bit more thought could have been put into how to blend the medical information into the story (e.g Kailey's approach and Mock's approach in their respective memoirs).

"At least my date is so hot all the other guys want her." This is not off to a good start. Andrews is sounding a little misogynistic and is pretty immature in dealing with rejection. I know he is young, but this isn't acceptable.
