what happened so far is Paul Shawn's brother protects Shawn when he his getting bullied by people at school. And then another thing is that after he likes to play basketball to calm him down. He loves the game anyway so the author decides to write about how Paul goes through his drill in basketball with Paul's coach.

what is happening in the book right now is Paul's dad had came over to see him but Paul does not like his father for him leaving them so he treats his dad in a real bad manner and does not care what he thinks of him and Paul hate the idea of him coming over and acting like nothing is wrong and they are all a happy family when there not.
