This morning in class I was informed that I have the rest of the semester to read this book. I am silently furious. I’m glad I don’t have to listen to this day and night, but I really listened to 3 hours of this yesterday for nothing. I could have been listening to music while I walked to class. But no, I was learning about refugees. Do I regret it? A little, yeah.

I am currently “reading” this book in one day for my cultural anthropology class. I am running it through Speechify and have been listening to it non-stop. I’m on a free account, so the only voice I have to read it is an incredibly robotic female voice. Worse than Siri. Siri has a soul. God has left the Speechify woman. It is hell on earth.
