I took this one on my recent "working vacation" to see my mom on Vancouver Island. I spent more time working, and watching the Jays play ball than reading though. I also dug my nose into her books while I was there and she kept taking me to the "Crazy Ladies" (a community thrift store) where I kept finding reading distractions for a $1.00 a book!!! I finally have time for a read that might make the "Short-List"!!!

Luffy Sempai Hope you update this read, as I have an interest in knowing your opinion of the book.

Ah, Luffy. I knew this was going to be a contender for The Short-List of meaningful and emotionally impactful books but it easily met those requirements in so many ways. The final 30% builds upon the initial layering and hits hard from a variety of angles to unfold it all with new perspective and brings you back full circle to the beginning.

Loved everything about this one. It's brilliantly constructed, executed, and I got everything I wanted out of this one and then some. Have a box of kleenex nearby though.

Now I'm intrigued. Will listen to your advice! There are many books vying for my attention but I hope to pick it up to read this month itself. Thank you!!!
