Russell, have you read this? I've gotta be honest, not sure how kindly I'll review this. It's not BAD, per se, but I just feel like it's a very specific type of person who will really follow what he's saying and glean a lot of insight from it. Personally, I have found it to be 90% over my head. Perhaps I'm just much more dense than his intended audience.

Well, I for one will not judge you based on your review haha....I have not read it yet but it's on my list that I hope to make it through sooner rather than later. When I saw you were reading it I almost jumped it to the top of the list but I can't disrupt sci-fi September as a matter of principal lol. Is it primarily a language barrier? I find that pretty often with classic theological books I have to go a lot more slowly and the older the book the more I have to focus and drop the other books I'm reading more often than not.
