The book took some time for me to get to like it but once I got a couple pages in the book started to get better. I now understand the book a little bit better and I would recommend this book to every one.

I feel the character wyane has obviously been through a lot while he was young getting beat by his dad and having his mom do nothing about it. wyane was a fun and cool young kid to hang out with he would always make his friends laugh and always found a way to have fun

now things are getting serious Wayne is telling more about his past life and how badly his father beat him. And how the mother doesn't do anything she just watches as the father beats her kids almost die on a day to day life.
