These characters are more infuriating than I remember...

Currently re-reading out of sheer curiosity.

Although I feel like I understand the book so much more now, Rin does not fail to be the peasant girl who least ever acted like a peasant girl over the first quarter of this book.

I'm liking it now.

But I'm headed into the part that really put me in the 3-star head space back when. Let's see if older me gets it.

The romance is heavy cringe….
