"If I Stay" is about about a teenage girl named Mia. She plays the cello and is very good. Mia is trying to get into the music school Juilliard. She is very close friends with a boy who plays guitar in a band. One snowy day Mia and her family decide to take a trip to there family's house. They get in a very serious car accident and her parents die but she is fighting for her life. This book is very good so far.

At the end of "If I Stay" Mia wakes up from the coma after Adam sings her a song. After she wakes up from the coma the book ends. I think if there were to be a sequel Mia would get the acception letter to Juliard. I think Adam will put his band career on hold and move with her so she's not alone.

In this book the main character is Mia. Mia's parents were into rock and roll and expected Mia to follow in there footsteps. Instead of following the path of rock and roll she chose cello. Mia is pretty much a cello prodogie and is trying to get into Juilliard
