Because of my experience, I went in not wanting to like this book. So far, I've been disappointed... the book is really good! I'm seeing a lot of similarities to my battle with covid. The description of symptoms and treatment are spot on. I look forward to the rest of the book.

I only read a few pages at a time and sometimes it can take weeks or months to finish.
Because of my COVID journey I went into this nervously and tried my best not to like it. I've just reached the turning point in the book and it's bringing flashbacks. Many items in Wish You Were Here happened to me as well.
I'm enjoying the story and anxiously awaiting finishing this book.

Jodi Picoult is a favorite author of my wife's. She "borrowed" the book from me so I'm a bit late in reading.
With that said, the book is going to be difficult for me, due to the trauma I experienced (see Captured By Covid).
I'll post a review when I'm able to pry the book away from my wife.
