One trait to describe the Admiral is dedicated to helping unwinds. He has a lot of guilt from Unwinding his son Harlan, so he creates The Graveyard in order to save Unwinds and he uses the profit to help Unwinds. "The money I get for placing Unwinds into service positions is used to feed the ones who remain," (215) This proves he is dedicated to helping Unwinds because he spent a lot of time and money saving them.

One part that was sad was when Roland was unwound. When Roland, Risa, and Connor get to Happy Jack, Roland is the 1st to be unwound. Although I didn't like Roland, I still was sad when he couldn't speak anymore. "Left frontal lobe. I..I.. don't feel so good. Left occipital lobe I.. I.. can't remember my name, but..." (286). This proves that it was sad because Roland was losing all of his memories in a few moments.

One important part was when the author wrote that "Humphrey Dunfee" was the Admirals son. After he calls Emby into his office and told him he had to go, it is revealed that his son is the famous unwind. "...glancing over at the smiling picture of his son Harlan-better known as Humphrey in modern folklore," (240). This proves that this is important because it provides new theories on why the Admiral has the graveyard.

One shocking part was when Lev was yelling at Tyler's (Cy-Fi's) parents. When Cy-Fi and Lev arrive in Joplin, Cyrus transforms more and more into Tyler and goes to his former home and speaks to his parents, then Lev starts to yell at them. "TELL HIM YOU WON"T UNWIND HIM!' he screams." (192). This proves that it was shocking because I had no idea Lev had the bravery in him to yell and threaten people he barely knows.

One shocking part was when CyFi stole the ornament from the Christmas store. Cy takes Lev under his wing, feeds him, and travels with him, but then starts stealing things out of the blue. "Cy picks a dangling gold bauble from the glittering tree and slips it into his coat pocket. Lev just stands there, stunned," (132). This is shocking because CyFi spent all this time teaching Lev how to survive without stealing.
