Evelyn has fingerprints match from the bakes burry killer. she is surprised to see that the fingerprints match those of a missing FBI women not a man. She knows for a fact that the killer is a male so she assumed when they found fingerprints in the trunk that it belonged to the killer. So she believes the women was a victim,and the fingerprint in the trunk is hers.
