I think the conflict of this book is very interesting because Lonnie, the main character, has the potential to become an NBA player, but he lives in Harlem, which is a dangerous and bad influential neighborhood. For example, there is a scene in the book where a store is being robbed, and Lonnie takes something as well to sell later.
